Comments on commenting

In response to your questions, I think that if each student comments at least three times during the semester on this blog, that would be a good sign of engagement--as long as your comments are thoughtful and substantial. You can respond to each others' posts, or you can raise questions about the readings or any topics that come up during discussion. Some of these reading assignments are pretty challenging, and I'll be happy to answer questions and address any puzzlements, anxieties, curiosities, etc., you may have.
